JOB DESCRIPTION

The Junior Analyst plays a key role in supporting and coordinating the organization’s financial activities. Reporting to the Finance Director, this individual contributes to the management of day-to-day accounting operations while also participating in the preparation and analysis of financial information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements;
  • Contribute to variance analysis and to understanding financial results;
  • Support the monitoring and management of cash flow;
  • Participate in month-end close processes and account reconciliations;
  • Ensure the management and monitoring of accounts payable and receivable;
  • Work with the development team to establish product cost structures;
  • Conduct the annual review of product costs;
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process;
  • Collaborate on the improvement of accounting and financial processes;
  • Participate in the implementation of an ERP system;
  • Support the team with various financial analyses and reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting;
  • Strong communication skills (French and English, both spoken and written);
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Familiarity with an ERP system, BI tools, or other enterprise systems is an asset;
  • Interest in learning data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, automation tools);
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and evolving environment;
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team;
  • Adaptability and comfort with change;
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail;
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
