RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate the feasibility of the garment based on the drawings provided by the customer;

  • Ensure direct and continuous communication with the client for the follow-up of the project;
  • Design and develop patterns according to the received designs, using Lectra's Modaris software;
  • Make adjustments on a manikin;
  • Prepare placements for sublimation and embossing, when required;
  • Collaborate with the sewing department for the development of prototypes, and provide technical sheets via Illustrator;
  • Measuring, analyzing and preparing samples according to the customer's drawings, while respecting established quality standards and deadlines;
  • Perform gradations from the base sizes;
  • Define the technical specifications necessary for manufacturing, respecting production schedules;
  • Participate in the organization, classification and archiving of files and templates according to internal procedures.

TANGIBLE CRITERIA (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • DEP, DEC or AEC diploma in fashion design, pattern making or product development, or equivalent experience;

  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a pattern maker in the clothing industry;
  • Proficiency in Lectra's Modaris and Illustrator software;
  • Excellent knowledge of tailoring techniques, adjustments and gradation.

  • Ability to manage multiple styles simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Team spirit, autonomy, sense of collaboration and communication;
  • Fluency in French and English.
