JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects related to subcontracting and the development of sports team uniforms as well as locker-room style apparel (tracksuits, polos, hoodies, etc.). They ensure coordination between suppliers, internal teams, and partners to guarantee quality, on‑time delivery, and compliance of products with technical and aesthetic requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Select and evaluate suppliers specializing in sports apparel and locker-room style garments (tracksuits, polos, hoodies, etc.);
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with agreements (quality, timelines, costs);
  • Monitor production with subcontractors and resolve manufacturing-related issues;
  • Collaborate with design and marketing to define locker-room collections;
  • Manage the creation of tech packs for each item;
  • Oversee prototyping, material testing, and size validation stages;
  • Ensure compliance with textile standards and technical requirements for each product;
  • Establish schedules and track budgets;
  • Communicate regularly with internal teams (design, quality, logistics) and suppliers;
  • Ensure timely delivery of products;
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and quality;
  • Stay current with and integrate new textile technologies and sportswear trends.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in project management, fashion sourcing, textiles, or a related field;
  • Experience in garment development or subcontractor management (3-5 years);
  • Knowledge of textile materials and garment manufacturing processes;
  • Proficiency with project management tools;
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills;
  • Bilingual in English and French;
  • Ability to travel internationally for short periods;
  • Strong attention to detail and passion for sports and fashion;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Leadership skills and a collaborative mindset;
  • Results-oriented with strong respect for deadlines;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
