Follow the latest developments on the impact of COVID-19 on SP Apparel's operations

April 1

Dear customers and partners,

We are proud to announce that since Tuesday, SP Apparel and 3B Hockey have been 100% dedicated to the production of gowns and masks for medical personnel in an effort to fight against COVID-19.

After offering our help to the various levels of government and other players in the textile industry at the beginning of the crisis, we were contacted by a company that did not have the capacity to produce an order received in the last few days. By offering them the capacity of our two plants, they were able to accept the contract.

We were, therefore, able to recall some 40 employees to gradually start production of 50,000 to 100,000 units. Exceptional preventive measures were put in place to ensure the health and safety of our employees.

Our employees are very proud to be serving the common cause at this time and we are equally proud to be able to lend a hand during the crisis.

Since our usual production of sports uniforms was already suspended last week, this new order will have no additional impact for now on the production delays of current orders. We will, of course, keep you informed of developments.

Please also know that our Customer Service team is always available - with reduced staff and turnaround times - to answer your questions and follow up on your orders if necessary.

Finally, on behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank you for all the words of encouragement we have received over the past few days.

To all our customers and partners,

Due to the exceptional measures put in place by the Government of Quebec to limit the spread of COVID-19, our plant and offices will be closed from March 25 to April 13.

If you have any questions, you can leave a message to your Customer Service representative or contact us at message@spapparel.com. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

We will contact you if the situation changes between now and April 13.

Online Shopping: You can still shop online, but please note that no orders will be shipped before April 14th.

Dear customers and partners of SP Apparel,

As the health and well-being of our employees, partners, and community is our priority in the face of the growing Covid-19 (Coronavirus) situation, we would like to inform you of the measures put in place at SP Apparel to limit the spread of the virus and to allow us to continue our operations as usual:

• Intensive hygiene measures have been put in place: handwashing stations at all entrances to the company, increased cleaning of work surfaces, and contact restrictions between employees.
• All employees returning from vacation or showing symptoms of cold, flu or fever are required to isolate themselves at home for 14 days.
• Visits are limited to the strict minimum. Only our employees have access to the plant. Delivery trucks are unloaded by our employees and our drivers are also instructed not to enter the facilities they visit.
• All our business trips have been canceled or postponed.

Rest assured that since the factory and offices remain open until further notice, production deadlines for current and future orders will be respected.

We will contact you if the situation changes and we are closely monitoring the announcements of the various governments.
