JOB DESCRIPTION
The operator will be responsible for operating sewing machines (serger, coverstitch, plain, overlock, etc.) to produce sports uniforms according to the specifications outlined on the production cards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Start up the sewing machines;
- Replace needles;
- Assemble a jersey by following the production cards;
- Identify each fabric piece that makes up the jersey;
- Identify the different types of threads;
- Ensure product quality by inspecting one’s own work;
- Perform maintenance on the sewing machine.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Have good vision and be able to clearly distinguish colors
- Work in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Experience with an industrial sewing machine
